Important information regarding the Coronavirus (COVID-19)

Following the decision of the Government of the Republic of Lithuania to lift COVID-19 related national emergency as of 1 May 2022, the travelers when entering Lithuania will no longer be subject to COVID-19 restrictions from the said date:

  • in terms of COVID-19, there will be no longer requirement to meet the exemption criteria or obtain a special permit to enter Lithuania;
  • the passengers are not required to complete the passenger questionnaire neither to have a negative test for COVID-19, even they have not been vaccinated or recovered from COVID-19 disease;
  • no self-isolation is required.

As of 1 May, 2022, the masks (medical masks or respirators) will remain mandatory in health care facilities if visiting a patient, health care institution may have its own decision for mask wearing and other infection control requirements if needed. In other indoor public places as well as public transport, masks and other non-medical public health measures - keeping a safe distance, hand hygiene, adequate ventilation, cleaning of the premises and surfaces, disinfecting are recommended.
