Vice-Minister Valys in Los Angeles: we seek to expand cooperation between Lithuanian and the U.S. business and innovation ecosystems
On 27 April, the Vice-Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania Taurimas Valys started his working visit to Los Angeles by welcoming representatives of Lithuanian defence industry companies participating in a business mission to the U.S.
“The defence partnership between Lithuania and the United States of America is essential for the security of our region. Our aim is not only to strengthen political ties, but also to expand practical cooperation between business and innovation ecosystems", noted the Vice-Minister.
A delegation of Lithuanian authorities and business representatives also visited US defence and innovation companies Mach Industries and AeroVironment to learn about advanced technologies and discuss opportunities for cooperation.
Valys also met with the Lithuanian community in Los Angeles, the Lithuanian Children's Hope organisation, the Los Angeles J. Daumantas Riflemen's Company and representatives of St. Casimir Lithuanian Heritage School of Los Angeles.
