On 15 May, the Vice-Minister of Foreign Affairs, Taurimas Valys, met with representatives of Irish companies in Dublin to present the advantages of Lithuania's investment and business environment.
"Despite geopolitical and economic uncertainties in the world, the resilience of Lithuania's economy and a favourable business environment create stable conditions for foreign companies to establish, grow and expand", stressed the Vice-Minister.
The Vice-Minister emphasized that there is a lot of potential in the development of economic relations between Ireland and Lithuania: “We see particular opportunities in life sciences, cybersecurity, engineering, and construction.”
The first day of the visit to Ireland was concluded by a meeting with members of the Lithuanian Professional Network in Ireland and Lithuanian businessmen, with whom Valys discussed greater involvement of the diaspora in the implementation of Lithuania's economic and foreign policy interests and possibilities of returning to Lithuania.
