Vice-Minister Pranevičius met with the Ambassador of Pakistan
On 20 May, the Vice-Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania, Julius Pranevičius, met with the newly appointed Ambassador of Pakistan to Lithuania, Muhammad Sami-ur-Rehman, who resides in Warsaw.
The meeting addressed bilateral relations, regional security, and opportunities for cooperation on digital innovation, trade, academic, and people-to-people contacts.
Lithuania and Pakistan established their diplomatic relations in 1994.
Muhammed Sami-ur-Rehman is Pakistan's eleventh Ambassador accredited to Lithuania.
Lithuania is represented in Pakistan by Ambassador Ričardas Degutis, who resides in Türkiye.
