Vice-Minister of Foreign Affairs attended the Middle East peace conference in Paris

On January 15, the Vice-Minister of Foreign Affairs Neris Germanas took part in the Middle East peace conference organised by French initiative with the purpose of bringing the attention of the international community to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and highlighting the importance of the two-state solution.

The representatives of the national and international organisations from approximately 70 countries who gathered in Paris adopted a common declaration, which emphasised support for the two-state solution, urging both countries not to take any actions that could obstruct the agreement, while the international community declared its readiness to assist the states in achieving the solution of the conflict through two-state negotiations.
