On 16-19th of August by the invitation of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania, the US Congress Staffers will pay a visit to Lithuania. The delegation will consist of the staffers of Senate and House of Representatives Committees, such as Foreign Affairs, Assignation, International Affairs, Defense and Intelligence. During the visit US Congress Staffers will meet H.E. Valdas Adamkus, President of Lithuania, Finance minister Dalia Grybauskaite, Chef of Defense Jonas Kronkaitis, Deputy of Parliament Arturas Skardzius, officials from ministry of Foreign Affairs, from National Security and Defense committee of Parliament and members from NATO integration commission. During the meetings the strategic aims of Lithuanian foreign policy, economical progress and the defense reforms towards the preparation for the membership to NATO will be presented. The delegation also will meet with the representatives of "Williams" company, will visit Rukla Training Regiment and KGB museum. This is the fourth visit of US Congress Staffers to Lithuania, organized by Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Potomac foundation.
