UNDERSECRETARY OF FOREIGN MINISTRY ATTENDS INFORMAL MEETING OF POLITICAL DIRECTORS OF FOREIGN MINISTRIES FROM EU MEMBER STATES IN FRANCE
On 3-4 July, Undersecretary of Lithuanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Žygimantas Pavilionis attends the informal meeting of political directors of Foreign Ministries from EU member states in France.
During the meeting, France intends to present its priorities of the European Union presidency for the second half-year of 2008.
Representatives from the EU countries are discussing issues of the EU relations with Russia and the South Caucasus, and the Middle East Peace Process. Together with representatives from the USA, they are discussing the situations in Kosovo, Iran and Zimbabwe.
