TOURISTS FLOCK TO LITHUANIA (BBC News, October 18, 2006)

The first "pod hotel" has opened in the Lithuanian capital of Vilnius, in an effort to address high demand for places to stay. Tourism in the country has increased dramatically since the state joined the EU.
