On October 18, the Minister of Foreign Affairs Antanas Valionis met the Ambassador of the United Kingdom to Lithuania Christopher Robbins who presented Minister Valionis with an action plan which aimed at helping Lithuania’s integration into the EU.
“Lithuania’s progress in becoming a member of the EU is amazing. Great Britain Government is delighted in having opportunity to help Lithuania to solve the remaining technical problems as well to inform the society about the EU”, Ambassador Robbins notified presenting the action plan according to which the United Kingdom asigns about 368 thousands of Litas for the realization of the projects.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs Antanas Valionis stressed upon the fact that the action plan confirms once again the importance of the United Kingdom as a partner in helping to aspire the membership of the EU for Lithuania.
