THE PROJECT “LITHUANIA TOWARDS NATO” BEGINS IN LITHUANIAN TOWNS

On October 25, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of National Defence and the public organisation "The Youth Stands for Membership to the Euro-Atlantic Organisations" (JUNEO) start the project "Lithuania Towards NATO".
Representatives of the Ministries along with the JUNEO members are to visit secondary schools in Nemenčinė, Pabradė, Trakai and Šalčininkai, where various plays, games and discussions are to be performed.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania is to donate to the schools the collections of books on the history of Lithuania, international relations and diplomatic services.
The main purpose of the project "Lithuania Towards NATO" is to inform Lithuanian society about the issues of integration to NATO.
