THE NEW PREMISES OF LITHUANIA’S EMBASSY WERE OPENED IN AZERBAIJAN
On 13 November, in Baku, the capital city of Azerbaijan, the new premises of Lithuania's Embassy to Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan were opened. Lithuanian President – Valdas Adamkus, who was in Baku for the 4th Energy Security Summit, the members of the Government of Azerbaijan, the leaders of the country’s Parliament (Milli Mejlis), the members of Lithuanian community as well as representatives of the press participated in the opening ceremony.
During the ceremony President V.Adamkus had a tour of the new Embassy building, talked to Lithuanians living in Baku.
Lithuania's Embassy to Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan was established on 1 January 2007. Lithuanian Ambassador to Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan is Kęstutis Kudzmanas.
