THE MEETING OF POLITICAL DIRECTORS OF THE MINISTRIES OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS OF THE BALTIC STATES AND NORDIC COUNTRIES IN TALLINN

On 7 February in Tallinn, Undersecretary of Lithuanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Žygimantas Pavilionis took part in the meeting (NB8) of political directors of the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of three Baltic States and five Nordic Countries.
During the meeting, the political directors discussed in detail the issues of Georgia, Kosovo, Western Balkans, the European Neighbourhood policy and relations with Russia. The participants of the meeting also discussed energy issues: the European energy policy approved by the European Council in March, 2007 and issues of regional energy policy.
