THE LITHUANIAN AMBASSADOR PRESENTED CREDENTIALS TO THE DIRECTOR-GENERAL OF THE UNITED NATIONS OFFICE AT GENEVA

On 11 June, Lithuanian Ambassador Jonas Rudalevičius presented credentials to Director-General of the United Nations Office at Geneva Sergei Ordzhonikidze. During the conversation, the Director-General presented key directions of the activities of the United Nations at Geneva, singled out the areas of disarmament and human rights, as well as the activities of specialised agencies of the United Nations.

Permanent Representative of Lithuania to the United Nations Office and other International Organisations in Geneva J.Rudalevičius and the Director-General discussed possibilities of organising cultural events at the Palace of Nations. The Ambassador reminded the Director-General of Lithuania’s vigorous activities in this sphere and emphasized that he expected to cooperate successfully in the future.
