At the meeting on 4 May, the Committee on Foreign Affairs discussed the draft Law No. XIP-968(2) on Compensation for the Real Property of the Jewish Religious Communities. The meeting was attended by Vice-Minister of Justice Tomas Vaitkevičius. By common consent, the Committee approved the draft law in essence. During the discussions, members of the Committee noted that efforts should be made to have this law passed by the Seimas (Parliament) as soon as possible.
