THE 6TH HONORARY CONSUL OF LITHUANIA ASSUMES RESPONSIBILITY IN POLAND

On September 5, Lithuanian Ambassador to Poland Loreta Zakarevičienė handed over the consular patent and exequatur (official recognition of a consular officer), signed by Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania Audronius Ažubalis, to Honorary Consul of Lithuania in Olsztyn Ursula Lech.

The Ambassador and the Honorary Consul discussed opening dates of the Honorary Consulate in Olsztyn and the future activities of the Honorary Consul.

Lech is the first Honorary Consul of Lithuania in Olsztyn, the city in north-eastern Poland, and the sixth in this country.
