SEMINAR AND WORKSHOP ON NUCLEAR SECURITY TO BE HELD IN VILNIUS
On 18 June in Vilnius, Lithuanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Japan’'s Integrated support Center for Nuclear Nonproliferation and Nuclear Security with the cooperation of U.S. Department of Energy National Nuclear Security Agency and European Commission Joint Research Centre are organizing the seminar on Meeting Challenges of Nuclear Security and Nonproliferation.
One day event is expected to form basis on which the all relevant parties share the understanding of the importance of nuclear nonproliferation and nuclear security.
The seminar will be attended by experts from Lithuanian and foreign institutions, such as Ministry of Foreign Affairs, radiation protection agencies, customs, border security and law enforcement institutions involved in the nuclear security related activities.
