SECRETARY GENERAL OF THE EUROPEAN COUNCIL TO VISIT VILNIUS

On October 29, Secretary General of the European Council Walter Schwimmer will pay a visit to Vilnius. The purpose of his visit is the upcoming chairmanship of Lithuania of the Council of Europe Committee of Ministers. The Secretary General of the Council of Europe will meet the President of Lithuania Valdas Adamkus, Prime Minister Algirdas Brazauskas, Chairman of the Seimas Artūras Paulauskas and Foreign Minister Antanas Valionis. The representatives of media are kindly invited to participate in the press conference that is to be held in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania on October 29 at 9.30.
