RUSSIAN FOREIGN AND TRANSPORT MINISTERS TO VISIT LITHUANIA
On 26 May Russian Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergej Lavrov and Transport Minister, Russian co-Chairman of Lithuanian-Russian Intergovernmental Commission Igor Levitin arrive on a working visit to Lithuania.
Russian delegation together with Lithuanian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Lithuanian co-Chairman of Lithuanian-Russian Intergovernmental Commission Antanas Valionis and the Minister of Finance, acting Minister of Transport and Communications Zigmantas Balčytis are going to discuss Lithuanian-Russian cooperation in transport sphere, Klaipeda and Kaliningrad ports’ cooperation (2K) project.
Also the nearest future work plans of Lithuanian-Russian Intergovernmental Commission will be coordinated.
After the meeting in Trakai Lithuanian and Russian delegations will go by train to Kybartai where Russian ministers S. Lavrov and I. Levitin will be acquainted with cargo inspection procedures on the railway station on the border with Russian Kaliningrad region.
