Representatives of the Lublin Triangle agree to strengthen cooperation to tackle disinformation
On 11-12 December, the Vice-Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania Mantas Adomėnas attended a meeting of the Vice-Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania, Poland and Ukraine in Lutsk, Ukraine.
On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the diplomatic relations between Lithuania and Ukraine, and Ukraine and Poland, the meeting was held to discuss the security situation in the region and the implementation of the guidelines on cooperation in the Lublin Triangle format of 7 July 2021.
"Cooperation and coordination within this format is very important in order to provide a unified response to today's challenges, especially the Russian military threat," said Adomėnas.
Vice-Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania, Poland and Ukraine also signed the Joint actions plan of L3 countries on countering disinformation for 2022-2023 that foresees joint actions by Lithuania, Poland and Ukraine aimed at strengthening their resilience and providing a common response to the threats posed by disinformation.
On 12 December, Lithuania and Ukraine will celebrate the 30th anniversary of the establishment of their diplomatic relations.
