Reforming European Union discussed in Rīga

On 11 October, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania Linas Linkevičius attended the Rīga Conference. Lithuania’s Foreign Minister, his Latvian counterpart Edgars Rinkēvičs, and other guests had a discussion entitled “Can the EU reform itself?”.
“Europe needs to adapt to new threats. We must defend our common values, remain united, and coordinate our action,” said the Minister L. Linkevičius.
In Rīga, Lithuania’s Foreign Minister met with a representative of the World Economic Forum. L. Linkevičius was also interviewed by journalists of Ukrainian and Georgian news agencies.
