PRESIDENT OF THE LITHUANIAN BUSINESS CLUB STANISLOVAS JUCIUS IS MISSING IN KALININGRAD
On 18 April in Kaliningrad founder and President of Lithuanian Business Club, Director General of Lithuanian capital construction firm “Roslitstroj” and Member of Board of Directors of Concern “Jupoja” Stanislovas Jucius was reported missing.
Lithuanian Consulate in Kaliningrad was informed about the missing businessman and appealed to Region Administration Ministers Sergei Buchelnikov and Mikhail Plyukhin, responsible respectively for construction and law enforcement institutions, asking to urge the militia to start searching actively.
On 19 April an official document was handed in to representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia in Kaliningrad Sergey Bezberezhiev with the same appeal.
On 20 April Consul General of the Republic of Lithuania in Kaliningrad Viktoras Baublys met with Governor of Kaliningrad Oblast Georgy Boos and asked to accelerate the searching investigation and urge the law enforcement agencies to take all possible measures to find the missing Lithuanian businessman. During the meeting Russian officials informed that the case of missing S.Jucius had been started. Instructions are given to announce officially about disappearance of S.Jucius on television.
On 18 April the Director General of Lithuanian capital firm “Roslitstroj” did not arrive to work, the businessman has remained unreachable by the telephone since the morning of the same day.
