Possibilities of exporting Lithuanian products discussed with new Ambassador of Kuwait

On 8 September, in Vilnius, Lithuania’s Foreign Minister Linas Linkevičius and the new Ambassador of Kuwait to Lithuania Monther Bader Sulaiman Al-Eissa discussed the possibilities of more intense development of political and economic bilateral relations and cooperation in the field of education.

L. Linkevičius underlined Lithuania’s readiness to strengthen relations with Kuwait in trade, business and other spheres, and encouraged the Ambassador to use more actively Lithuania’s potential and provide stimulus for closer cooperation between the two countries.

The potential of Lithuanian exports to Kuwait, cooperation in international forums and education opportunities in Lithuania for Kuwait students were discussed.

M. Al-Eissa is a career diplomat. In recent years he represented Kuwait in Greece, Sudan, the Central African Republic, and Malaysia. 

Diplomatic relations between Lithuania and Kuwait were established on 5 April 1994. M. Al-Eissa who resides in Berlin is the fifth Ambassador of Kuwait to Lithuania.
