OSCE CHAIRPERSON-IN-OFFICE TO VISIT UZBEKISTAN AND TURKMENISTAN

VILNIUS, 30 May 2011 – The OSCE Chairperson-in-Office, Lithuanian Foreign Minister Audronius Ažubalis, will visit Uzbekistan on 1 June and Turkmenistan on 2 June, to discuss their co-operation with the OSCE and the support the OSCE could offer to the countries in fulfilling their OSCE commitments.

Ažubalis will meet with the Presidents and Foreign Ministers of Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan, heads of Parliaments, as well as with representatives of political parties, civil society and media.
