OPTIMIZATION OF ACTIVITIES OF LITHUANIAN AND ESTONIAN DIPLOMATIC SERVICES WAS DISCUSSED

On 13 May, State Secretary of Lithuania’s Foreign Ministry Kęstutis Jankauskas met with Secretary General of Estonian Foreign Ministry Marten Kokk.
During the conversation, optimization of activities of Lithuanian and Estonian diplomatic services was discussed.
The diplomats also discussed the implementation of the energy projects that are important to the Baltic States, perspectives of the introduction of the Euro, perspectives of further enlargement of the European Union, EU Eastern policy and activities of Lithuanian and Estonian missions in Afghanistan.
Political Director of Lithuania’s Foreign Ministry Eitvydas Bajarūnas also attended the meeting.
