ON THE OCCASION OF THE 11TH OF MARCH, LITHUANIAN FOREIGN MINISTER CALLS ON WORLD LITHUANIANS TO EMBODY THE FREEDOM THAT THEY FOUGHT FOR

Lithuanian Minister of Foreign Affairs Audronius Ažubalis extends congratulations to Lithuanians in the world on the occasion of the Day of Re-establishment of the Independence of Lithuania and calls on them to embody the freedom that they fought for with their own faith, work and consolidation, foster the living patriotism and nourish the seedlings of civic spirit.
In the congratulations letter to Lithuanian communities of the 9 March, the Minister attributes the 11th of March to the most prominent dates in Lithuania’s millennium-long history and calls on the Lithuanians to “take up the responsibility for the community, nation and state, also to embody and testify to the freedom.”“With firm belief in our nation’s unbending spirit, on the occasion of the 11th of March, I sincerely wish the entire world Lithuanian family to have faith in themselves and in each other, as well as unity, harmony and concord,” the letter of Minister A.Ažubalis reads.
