OFFICE OF LITHUANIA’S HONORARY CONSUL OPENS IN FLORENCE

The office of Lithuania’s Honorary Consul Enrico Palasciano opened on May 12 in the city of Florence, the Italian province of Tuscany. Enrico Palasciano is Lithuania’s ninth Honorary Consul in Italy, who is assigned to perform consular functions in the consular district of Tuscany.

“This Consulate is the new bridge, which will connect the traders and the travellers, the ones who seek knowledge and the ones who seek support,” Lithuania’s Ambassador to the Italian Republic Petras Zapolskas said during the opening ceremony of the office of the Honorary Consul.

Heads of the region of Tuscany and the city of Florence, entrepreneurs and representatives of culture and science attended the opening ceremony of the Lithuanian Consulate.

During the ceremony at the Consulate, guests admired the exhibition of paintings by Prelate Stasys Žilys, viewed video material and photos by photographer Marius Jovaiša and listened to the music, which was composed by Lithuanian composer Vytautas Barkauskas and performed by violinist Barbora Valiukevičiūtė.

E.Palasciano heads a law firm and is well known in Florence, where he has an excellent reputation as an attorney, specializing in civil and family law.
