NEW LITHUANIAN HONORARY CONSUL APPOINTED IN FRANCE

Lithuanian Honorary Consul Gerard Marc Marie de Laitre takes office in France. The newly appointed Honorary Consul G.M.M. de Laitre will exercise his functions in Aquitaine region consular district. The Consulate is established in Thil Castle situated close to Bordeaux. G.M.M. de Laitre is a citizen of France and a private medical practitioner. He is also producing wine and is an active member of many French associations and public organizations.

Hopefully, the appointment of the Honorary Consul will contribute to the development of bilateral Lithuanian-French relations in the areas of trade, culture and science, and intensify the activity of the Lithuanian community in Aquitaine region.
