NEW HONORARY CONSUL OF LITHUANIA WAS APPOINTED IN KOREA

On 19 April Lithuanian Minister of Foreign Affairs Antanas Valionis presented a consular commission to the new Honorary Consul of Lithuania in South Korea Jung Hwan Suh.
On 20 April Lithuanian Minister of Foreign Affairs Antanas Valionis started his official visit to South Korea. During the visit meetings with Korean Foreign Affairs and Trade Minister Ban Ki-moon, Chairman of the National Assembly of South Korea Kim Won Ki and Head of the Group for Lithuanian-Korean parliamentary friendship Kim Hak-won are planned.
In the meetings it is planned to discuss bilateral relations and international cooperation issues and sign a bilateral agreement on avoidance of double taxation of income and capital and fiscal violations and a Memorandum between Lithuanian and Korean Ministries of Foreign Affairs on establishment of mechanism of political consultations.
