NATO SCIENCE FOR PEACE AND SECURITY COMMITTEE’S SEMINAR TAKES PLACE IN LITHUANIA

On 7 May an international science seminar “Evaluation of Risks and Environmental Security in the Baltic Sea Region” initiated by  NATO Euro-Atlantic Partnership Council and NATO Science for Peace and Security Committee takes place in Lithuanian Academy of Sciences in Vilnius. Scientists from Belarus, Latvia, Poland, Lithuania, the Netherlands and Russia are discussing the researches carried out in the Baltic Sea environment protection area, environmental problems, arising in the Baltic Sea region.

The seminar is organized by NATO Science for Peace and Security Committee together with Lithuanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Lithuanian Academy of Sciences, and Kaunas University of Technology.
