Mr Landsbergis congratulated newly appointed Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski

During the phone conversation, the Ministers discussed bilateral and regional cooperation and ensuring comprehensive support for Ukraine. The Head of Lithuanian diplomacy stressed that Lithuania and Poland are strategic partners and like-minded on many issues on the international agenda. Mr Landsbergis thanked Mr Sikorski for Poland's contribution to strengthening the security of the region and noted that further cooperation in the field of defence and security remains an important priority.
