MOROCCO’S SECRETARY OF STATE FOR FOREIGN AFFAIRS AND COOPERATION IS PAYING A VISIT TO LITHUANIA
On 27-28 April, Secretary of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation of the Kingdom of Morocco Latifa Akharbach is paying a visit to Lithuania.
This is the first visit of a high-ranking Moroccan official to Lithuania.
A meeting of L.Akharbach and Lithuania’s Vice-Minister of Foreign Affairs Asta Skaisgirytė Liauškienė is scheduled in Vilnius. The Secretary of State and Vice-Minister intend to discuss political cooperation between Lithuania and Morocco at bilateral and multilateral levels, possibilities for strengthening economic relations, political dialogue within the European Union and international organizations, and other important issues.
The programme of the visit of the Secretary of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation of Morocco also includes meetings at the Seimas (Parliament) of Lithuania, Ministry of Economy, Ministry of Culture, Ministry of Agriculture, Association of Lithuanian Chambers of Commerce, Industry and Crafts, Institute of International Relations and Political Science of Vilnius University, non-governmental organizations.
