MINISTER V.UŠACKAS CONGRATULATED HIS NEW ROMANIAN COUNTERPART

Lithuania’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Vygaudas Ušackas congratulated Teodor Baconschi on assuming office as Romania’s Minister of Foreign Affairs.

The Minister wished his colleague success and expressed hope that Lithuania and Romania will continue strengthening bilateral relations in the future.

After the presidential election on 6 December, the new Romanian Government was formed and approved. The Government consists of the members from the new parliamentary majority coalition: the Liberal Democratic Party and the Democratic Union of Hungarians in Romania with the support of independent parliamentarians. Romanian government has seventeen members (the Prime Minister, his deputy, and fifteen ministers).
