Minister of Foreign Affairs, Linas Linkevičius, signed a book of condolences thus paid tribute to the Ambassador of the Russian Federation, assassinated in Ankara

On 20 December, 2016 Lithuanian Minister of Foreign Affairs Linas Linkevičius signed a book of condolences opened at the Embassy of the Russian Federation for the Russian Ambassador to Turkey, Mr Andrei Karlov who died tragically in Ankara.

Minister expressed condolences to the family, friends and colleagues of the assassinated Russian diplomat.

“I convey my most sincere condolences to the loved ones of Andrei Gennadyevich Karlov. May all those who have lost their family member, friend, and colleague be strong in spirit,” Linas Linkevičius wrote in the book of condolences.
