MINISTER OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS BIDS FAREWELL TO THE OUTGOING RUSSIAN AMBASSADOR

On 21 May, Lithuanian Minister of Foreign Affairs Petras Vaitiekūnas met with Russian Ambassador Boris Cepov, who is finishing his tenure. During the meeting, the state of the bilateral relations between Lithuania and Russia was discussed and trust was expressed for moving forward with the important bilateral issues that are stuck.
The Minister indicated that the best example of the bilateral relations is the growing mutual trade. Minister P.Vaitiekūnas believes that not only economic relations shall continue to strengthen, but cooperation based on mutual trust will be developed in various areas as well.
