Minister Linkevičius offers condolences to Greece over wildfires

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania Linas Linkevičius sent a letter to the Greek Minister of Foreign Affairs Nikos Kotzias and expressed his deep condolences over the wildfires in Greece that had taken many lives. Lithuania‘s Foreign Minister wished strength to the relatives of the victims and to those who had been affected by the wildfires.
"We are watching the situation with great concern. We see what heroic efforts are required to stop the wildfires. Lithuania stands in solidarity with Greece and is ready to help the country in these difficult times,“ the Minister L. Linkevičius wrote in the letter of condolences.
