Minister congratulates Australia and India on the national holidays

On January 26, the Lithuanian Minister of Foreign Affairs Linas Linkevičius congratulated Australia celebrating the Australia Day and India celebrating the Republic Day.

In his letter to the Australian Minister of Foreign Affairs Julie Bishop, the head of the Lithuanian diplomacy complemented the good relationship between the countries and emphasised that agreements regarding the working holiday programme and social security would help to develop a close cooperation between Lithuania and Australia even further.

In his greetings to Sushma Swaraj, the Minister of External Affairs of India, and the nation of India, Minister Linkevičius wished them peace, success and prosperity.
