Minister congratulates Armenia on its Independence Day
Lithuanian Foreign Minister Linas Linkevičius congratulated Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Edward Nalbandian and the people of Armenia on the occasion of the Anniversary of Independence of Armenia.
Congratulating Armenia on its Independence Day, the Minister wrote, “I would like to wish your country and its people continued success in building prosperous, democratic and secure Armenia.”
Minister Linkevičius also welcomed the conclusion of negotiations on the Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement (CEPA) between the EU and Armenia which is going to replace the EU-Armenia Partnership and Cooperation Agreement signed in 1999. He expressed hope that the new agreement would enable the two countries to enhance and deepen their bilateral relations and further advance Armenia’s economic prosperity.
