On 5-7 February, Foreign Minister Kęstutis Budrys will visit Washington, D.C., to participate in the international security Forum GLOBSEC, focused on current issues in the transatlantic security agenda. During his visit, the Minister will also have bilateral meetings with U.S. administration officials.

On the eve of the Forum, Minister Budrys will speak at a high-level roundtable discussion as part of the opening session on "Strengthening Transatlantic Security and Defense: Key Steps." On the second day of the Forum, he will take part in a discussion titled "The Path to Sustainable Peace in Ukraine."

The GLOBSEC Forum, initiated two decades ago, has become a traditional Central European debate platform where strategic topics on foreign policy, economics, and security are discussed. The GLOBSEC global network of experts has offices in Washington, D.C., Bratislava, Brussels, Kyiv, and Vienna.
