Minister Budrys pays a working visit to Germany
On 18-19 November, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Kęstutis Budrys, will be paying a working visit to Berlin.
The Minister will meet with the German Federal Minister for Foreign Affairs, Johann Wadephul. The ministers will discuss bilateral cooperation, security and defence issues, support to Ukraine, the use of Russian frozen assets, sanctions against Russia and Belarus.
Budrys will attend the Berlin Security Conference during the visit. Lithuania's head of diplomacy will address a high-level discussion on “North: from the Baltic states to the Arctic Circle – Threats, Risks and Mitigation”.
In Berlin, the Minister will also meet with Günter Sautter, Foreign and Security Policy Advisor to the Federal Chancellor of Germany, and representatives of German political think tanks.
