Minister Budrys is paying a working visit to Japan

On 22-23 October, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania, Kęstutis Budrys, is on a working visit to Japan. The minister will meet with the new Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan, Toshimitsu Motegi, and participate in the Ukraine Mine Action Conference (UMAC2025), co-organized by the governments of Japan and Ukraine.

Also, during the visit the minister and the representatives of Japanese think tanks will have a roundtable discussion with on security challenges. With representatives of Japanese economic organisations and businesses, Budrys will discuss cooperation in the implementation of Ukraine's reconstruction projects, meet with the president of the Japan International Cooperation Agency, Akihiko Tanaka, honorary consuls of Lithuania in Japan, former ambassadors of Japan to Lithuania, and representatives of the Lithuanian community in Japan.
