MFA RECEIVES LETTER OF APOLOGY FROM BBC

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs received a letter of apology from the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) admitting that Lithuania was mistakenly included in the list of countries which are suspected of having supplied arms to Somalia over the past decade in violation of international arms embargo imposed on this East African country. ”I am very sorry this error occurred,” the letter signed by the BBC’s Head of Programme Complaints Unit Fraser Steel reads.
