LITHUANIA’S MINISTER OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS RECEIVES UKRAINIAN AMBASSADOR

On 23 December, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania Vygaudas Ušackas received Ambassador of Ukraine Ihor Prokopchuk. During the meeting, the upcoming visit of Minister V.Ušackas to Ukraine on 26-27 December was discussed.

Minister V.Ušackas indicated that the principal interest of Lithuania is democratic, stable and prosperous Ukraine, stepping firmly on the path of Euro-Atlantic integration.

Ambassador I.Prokopchuk thanked the head of Lithuanian diplomacy for the country’s steady support for Ukraine.

Ambassador I. Prokopchuk is the fifth Ukrainian Ambassador, residing in Vilnius.

Lithuania and Ukraine established diplomatic relations on 12 December 1991.
