Lithuania’s Foreign Vice-Minister meets with new U.A.E. Ambassador, discusses bilateral political and economic cooperation

On 15 June, the Vice-Minister of Foreign Affairs Neris Germanas met with the new Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates Yousif Eis Hassan Eisa AlSabri, who is accredited to Lithuania from Warsaw. In the meeting, the officials discussed bilateral political and economic cooperation, and the U.A.E officials’ planned visits to Lithuania.

The Ambassador was conveyed invitations for the U.A.E. Ministers of Economy and Health to participate in the conference “Life Sciences Baltics 2016” to be held in Lithuania, discussed opportunities for a business delegation’s visit and potential areas of cooperation.

On the same day, the U.A.E. Ambassador presented his letters of credence to the President of Lithuania Dalia Grybauskaitė.

Lithuania and the United Arab Emirates established diplomatic relations on 16 October 1992.
