Lithuania’s Foreign Vice-Minister meets with new North Korean Ambassador, discusses security situation on Korean Peninsula and multilateral cooperation

On 5 December, Lithuania’s Vice-Minister of Foreign Affairs Rolandas Kriščiūnas met with new Ambassador of North Korea to Lithuania Kang Yong Dok.

The meeting focused on cooperation within international organizations, the security situation on the Korean Peninsula, human rights issues.

Kang Yong Dok is the 7th Ambassador of North Korea to Lithuania. He resides in Sweden. Lithuania and North Korea established diplomatic relations on 25 September 1991.
