Lithuania’s Foreign Vice-Minister meets with Kazakh Ambassador
On 6 September, the Vice-Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania Mantvydas Bekešius met with the Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Lithuania Baurzhan Mukhamedzhanov and discussed political and economic cooperation, prospects for bilateral relations.
“Kazakhstan is a very important economic partner for Lithuania in Central Asia. Growing bilateral trade volumes and strengthening cooperation in the fields of transport and logistics prove this,” said Bekešius.
The interlocutors welcomed the close bilateral cooperation and agreed to make better use of the partnership’s potential in the future.
On 10-13 July, the Vice-Minsiter Bekešius paid a working visit to Kazakhstan and opened Lithuania’s Honorary Consulate in Aktobe.
