Lithuania's Foreign Vice-Minister Adomėnas discusses the issue of preserving the Holocaust memory in Lithuania with representatives of the American Jewish Committee
On 28 April, the Vice-Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania Mantas Adomėnas met with members of the delegation of the American Jewish Committee (AJC), led by the AJC Executive Director David Harris, who are visiting Vilnius.
The meeting focused on the issue of preserving the memory of the Holocaust in Lithuania, Russia's aggression against Ukraine, as well as monuments and other memorial signs dedicated to Lithuania's occupation by Nazi Germany and the Soviet Union.
At the meeting, Adomėnas presented in detail Lithuania’s efforts to fully support Ukraine in its fight against Russia. The head of the delegation also expressed his strong support for Ukraine on behalf of American Jews.
One of the oldest Jewish advocacy organizations in the world, the American Jewish Committee was established in 1906 in the United States.
