Lithuania's Foreign Ministry urges Lithuanian citizens to leave Ukraine immediately by land transport

Due to a large-scale military action by Russia against Ukraine, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania urges Lithuanian citizens who are currently in Ukraine to leave the country immediately by land transport.

Ukraine’s airspace is closed to civilian flights, so Lithuanian citizens are urged not to travel to Ukrainian airports.

Please note that Lithuania's Foreign Ministry has also advised against travel to Belarus. Those Lithuanian citizens who are in Belarus should depart.

If you are remaining in Ukraine, please register immediately at https://keliauk.urm.lt/keliones-registracijos-forma so that you can be contacted for consular assistance when necessary.

Citizens with emergencies can contact the Lithuanian Embassy in Kiev. Contact details and other relevant information can be found here: https://keliauk.urm.lt/location/ukraina

You can also call the Ministry of Foreign Affairs around the clock by phone at +370 5 236 2444 or contact us via e-mail at pilieciai@urm.lt.
