Lithuania’s Foreign Ministry offers condolences over murder of Canadian military officer

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania strongly condemns the fatal attack of 22 October in Ottawa and offers its deepest condolences to the family of the Canadian soldier and the people of Canada.

The Foreign Ministry also expresses is support to Canada in the fight against terrorism. Similar attacks cannot weaken the international community’s effort and determination to fight against groups which pose a threat to international peace and security.
