Lithuania's Foreign Ministry hands a diplomatic note to a Belarusian representative expressing its strong protest over systemic violations of the state border

On 19 April, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania summoned a representative of the Embassy of Belarus in Lithuania and handed a diplomatic note expressing its strong protest over systemic violations of the Lithuanian state border.
The diplomatic note was handed over regarding the violation of the state border of Lithuania by a Belarusian border guard on 18 April 2023 near Varėna. In the note of protest, Lithuania's Foreign Ministry demands that Belarus explain the analogous incidents of 12 and 18 April immediately and take all the necessary measures to prevent such incidents from happening again.
