Lithuania’s Foreign Minister signs condolence book at Turkish Embassy
On 13 October at the Turkish Embassy in Vilnius, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania Linas Linkevičius signed a condolence book for almost 100 victims of Saturday’s terrorist attack in Ankara.
The Minister offered his condolences to the families of those who were killed and injured, the Government of Turkey and its people, harshly condemned the brutal terrorist attack and voiced Lithuania’s solidarity with Turkey in its tireless fight against terrorism.
“I and all the people of Lithuania extend our deepest condolences to the families of the victims, the Turkish government and its people. It is particularly important that facing these challenges and security threats the entire Turkish society stays strong and united. Our partnership with Turkey and its people is stronger than ever,” Linkevičius wrote in the book of condolence.
